About Me

A JOURNEY TOWARD ALIGNMENT AND MEANING

My Story

I remember standing in front of the statue of Robert A. Long, the lumber baron who built my hometown and left a legacy that still stands today. I asked myself a question that has guided me ever since: How do you build a life that truly matters?

My career path has taken me from youth ministry to corporate sales, to a break from the corporate grind by teaching, and eventually into tech leadership. On the surface, everything was working, yet I could not escape the quiet sense that something was not quite right. Each role gave me something new, but I was chasing achievement instead of alignment.

Everything began to change when I took the time to define my core values and motivations. For the first time, I understood why restlessness had followed me from one chapter to the next and how living with alignment could bring clarity, confidence, and fulfillment.

Today, I use those lessons, along with my experience in teaching, leadership, and public speaking, to help others find meaning in their work and lives. Whether I am speaking to a room of students, a corporate audience, or a small team, my goal is the same: to help people rediscover what drives them and thrive right where they are.

I earned an MBA in Strategic HR Management from George Fox University, led technical sales teams at one of the largest tech companies in the world, and have spent my career helping people grow and perform at their best.

I have been married to my wife, Tamra, for more than 20 years, and together we have raised two amazing children. Family has taught me what work confirmed: fulfillment is not found in titles or achievements, but in living aligned with what matters most.
